Power Curve Verification campaigns for GPG at Ryan Corner and Hawkesdale wind farms

Together with our colleagues at Barlovento Applus+, we have successfully completed independent Power Curve Verification campaigns at the Ryan Corner and Hawkesdale wind farms in Australia, supporting Global Power Generation through the delivery of independent Power Performance Testing in accordance with IEC 61400-12-1.

The projects included the full execution of the measurement campaigns, covering planning activities, equipment supply and commissioning, data collection and validation, performance analysis, and final Power Curve Warranty Verification reporting.

Power Curve Verification is often considered the final step in demonstrating compliance with contractual power curve warranties. However, it also provides a reliable performance benchmark that supports long-term operational performance management throughout the life of a wind farm.

By combining independent measurements, advanced analytics and extensive industry experience, we help asset owners gain a deeper understanding of turbine behaviour and make informed decisions to optimise asset performance over time.

These campaigns further strengthen our experience supporting asset owners and OEMs with independent wind turbine Power Performance Testing across Australia.
