Enertis Applus+ Participates in Wind Europe 2026 Alongside Barlovento Applus+ Experts

Enertis Applus+ will participate in Wind Europe 2026, taking place in Madrid from 21 to 23 April, one of the leading international events for the wind energy sector. The conference will bring together key industry stakeholders to discuss the latest developments in onshore and offshore wind energy, technological innovation and project performance.
During the event, our experts will be available to meet with industry professionals and share insights on how our independent technical advisory services support wind projects worldwide across all stages of the project lifecycle.
As part of the Wind Europe 2026 technical programme, two technical posters developed by colleagues from Barlovento Applus+ will be presented, highlighting advanced applications of LiDAR technology in complex terrain and reinforcing our strong commitment to applied research and technical excellence.
The first poster, “Suitability of Ground LiDAR for the performance of Power Curve Test in complex terrain, including Site Calibration, by combination of LiDAR and hub height met mast”, explores alternative methodologies for power curve testing in highly complex sites, combining Ground LiDAR technology with hub-height met mast measurements.
The second poster, “LiDAR measurement campaign definition in non-flat terrain”, focuses on the challenges associated with defining representative LiDAR measurement campaigns in non-flat terrain, proposing approaches aimed at improving data quality and reducing uncertainty in wind resource and performance assessments.
Throughout Wind Europe 2026, our teams will showcase how their combined expertise in consulting, engineering, testing and wind resource assessment delivers robust and reliable technical solutions for onshore and offshore wind projects across global markets.
